Imaan.

This large automatic drawing (80 x 120) was created in 1994 and it is one of many works inspired by an extraterrestrial presence I have come to know as Imaan.

Ideomotor effect results in the creation of automatic writing and drawing. In 1983 I started writing automatically and since 1994 I have developed it into the art of automatic drawing. It is truely an amazing phenomenon, very well researched and defined by science, however the art form is not popular and hardly understood. Automatic writing and drawing formed the basis for the surrealist manifest and the experimentation of ideomotor drawing.
